40 weeks

When I was pregnant I signed up to get the emails that tell you how your baby is growing each week of the pregnancy.  You know, "Your baby now weighs 3.75 pounds and is about 16.7 inches long... he now has fingernails and toenails..."  Well, anyway, there is one email that I still get now which tells me the things my baby will be doing as he grows older.  Last Thursday I got an email that said "Your baby is 40 weeks old!"  I thought this was interesting because it reminded me that he has now been alive outside of my body longer than he was alive inside my body since he was born at 39 weeks and 2 days.  Crazy!

Brady is getting to be such a big boy!  Sometimes I look at him now and I see a little boy.  Other times I still see a baby.  He is getting really good at feeding himself with his fingers and he is starting to act like he will crawl soon and he can stand while holding onto something.  I can't believe it's almost time for me to plan his first birthday party, too!
